Bernice Mast Photography: JAPAN
Looking at the Japan photos, I'm reminded of my photographic frenzy while working in Singapore and China. At the time, native friends would giggle about some of my imagery choices---what seemed exotic and intriguing at first became ordinary after living there for a year. It wasn't until my sensibilities had adjusted did I understand what all the giggling/puzzled looks were about.
Good lessons for a foreigner.
